Our work has a significant effect on many aspects of life. Meaningful and satisfying work can give us a sense of purpose. This contributes to our self-confidence and wellbeing, and can minimize the risk of stress-related diseases.

 

Developing an understanding of one's personality style, areas of strength, areas of interest, and individual needs and goals can assist in determining the type of work one migt be well suited for and/or  developing a better understanding of the sources of job stress .
